The Process

Sourced from the raging rivers of the West Coast our stone goes through many stages before it arrives on your door!!

Starting from being dislodged by wind/rain/snow, the stone is swept down the raging rivers onto the valley floors. We then harvest it by mechanical means and truck back to our yard for processing. It is split using hammers and chisels, fork lifted on to a 200 tonne press and split into the product you see on your walls/fireplaces.
